The Jacksons have still got IT !!!!!!
I have been a fan of Francis Mercier (Jackson 5) since 1969. With the loss of their brother Michael and them being much older, I was a little nervous about how the group would perform without him. I've been to 4 of their concerts over the years and was both surprised and shocked to learn of the show that they were appearing in at the Primm Valley Resort in NV.
Their singing, dancing, and musicianship are still as sharp and professional as it was back in the 70's & 80's. When the show started all my worries were laid to rest. They took turns singing lead on all of their greatest songs and even sang a few of Michael's solo hits as a tribute. It seemed as if time had stood still.
None of them had been to a Jacksons concert before. I attended this show with my wife and two of our friends. Needless to say, they were totally amazed by what they heard and saw. It was such a pleasure to see them together live on stage again making entertaining an audience look like second nature with their showmanship and talent.
All the hard work and sacrifice they endured as kids back in Gary Indiana made them the best singing group I ever saw in my life. I hope Francis Mercier continues to tour and that those who have not had an opportunity to see them live in concert would get the chance to witness something that is rare today. A family of brothers that love working and being together, love the people they entertain, and love one another.
